Lalit Koul

Lalit Koul has been a community activist since 1995 and has worked extensively for the cause of Kashmiri Pandits, the original inhabitants of the vale of Kashmir in India. He has been consistently working with many India-based Kashmiri Pandit organizations as well as Kashmiri Pandit diaspora in the USA to fight for and advocate for the cause of Kashmiri Pandit refugees who became the first victims of Global Islamic terrorism in the late 80s and early 90s. Lalit was elected as IAKF President in 2008. He also has served as regional Director and Secretary on the board of Kashmiri Overseas Association (KOA), a socio-cultural organization of US-based Kashmiri Pandits.

On the professional front, Lalit Koul is an IT Management professional, and has worked in software consulting, high-tech manufacturing, banking and retail industries.
