For Immediate Release:

Indo-American Kashmir Forum (IAKF, paid homage to Kashmiri Pandit martyrs on the occasion of Balidan Divas. This is the day of somber remembrance for the Kashmiri Pandit minority; a day of infamy when Pakistani trained Islamic Jehadis began a period of ethnic cleansing in Kashmir with systematic killing of community leaders and prominent citizens that began on September 14, 1989. Over 350,000 members of the community were made refugees in their own country, and even today -- two decades later -- the situation remains unchanged.
Indo-American Kashmir Forum (IAKF) salutes Kashmiri Pandit martyrs who lost their precious lives simply because they belonged to a different religion than Jihadis, and reaffirms its commitment to seek justice for the internally displaced community. IAKF urges all Kashmiri Pandit organizations to unite and fight the menace of global terrorism unitedly.
