[From U.K.'s The Times]. British agents investigating links between the alleged leader of the 7/7 London bombings, Mohammad Sidique Khan, are led to an Al-Queda cell in Falls Church, VA. Some of these members received their training with the Laskhar-e-Taibba, the Pakistani terrorist outfit operating in Kashmir.

British agents are operating in the United States to trace links with Islamic extremists from England who recruit Muslims to fight for terrorist groups abroad.

[From Hindustan Times]. Despite 'gracing' many other venues in recent months with his presence, Mirwaiz Umer Farooq and the 'Moderate' faction of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) play 'hard-to-get' with the Prime Minister.

The moderate faction of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, taken to represent those Kashmiris with alternative political aspirations, declined to participate in Manmohan Singh’s second roundtable conference, held in Srinagar. But it appears neither the Hurriyat Chairman Mirwaiz Umer Farooq, nor Singh, wishes to shut the door on the other. Instead of hurling recriminations, the PM hoped the Hurriyat would join such a conference at an appropriate time, while the Mirwaiz said his conglomerate was “not disappointed” with Singh.
